Came here twice to dine by myself. This is a vegetarian restaurant and the food is not bad. I thought vegetarian food would be tasteless but i was wrong. The food was delicious. The first time i came here, i ordered the Japchae (sweet potato noodles) and grilled tteokboki (dry version) that was paired with gochuzhang sauce. The Japchae had many veges such as mushrooms and bell peppers. It made the whole dish super flavourful. The grilled tteokboki exterior was slightly crispy and inside was chewy, but it was abit hard for me. I decided next time i would get the soup version to see what's the difference. So 2nd time i came here, i decided to order the tteokboki soup version, and i toped up about $3? To add the Dangmyeon (sweet potato glass noodles). The soup version is much better, the tteokboki super soft and chewy. And the glass noodles they also gave a big portion. It was super filling and i couldn't finish it myself. Overall, i highly recommend this place if you are a vegetarian or just want to try out vegetarian food.
This place is near Tai Seng MRT and it is convenient. It’s surrounded by pubs so be ready to inhale some smoke before you could step into the restaurant. The place is coz with some floor seats. However it is not a conducive place to chit chat with lots of echo. Food wise, it is vegetarian and you do get a very wide variety of food for a Korean vegetarian. And they are all very tasty. Do get them to introduce the dishes to you if it is your first time there.
No frills dining!! The food was great. Sorry for the nondescript descriptions, but if you’re looking for vegan Korean food, then just come here. Bc this is Singapore and not Korea, but still some places do offer the cold water flasks, this place does not. They charge fifty cents for an iced water. There’s also a dining limit of 1h15 mins if I remember correctly at peak dining periods. The perilla noodle soup (perilla guksu) was comforting and very brothy. It had a good mix of noodle to ‘liao’ or vegetable ratio so that was much appreciated. The kimchi pancake was also crispy and thin. Not too spicy too. The banchan was also great. The radish one is sweet, cucumber spicy and the lotus root the most balanced of all. Thank you friends for the birthday meal treat! No pictures of the steamed egg though. It was the best imo bc we all finished it 😭
Authentic Korean Vegan Delight! We had an amazing lunch today at this hidden gem of a Korean vegan restaurant. The place was spotlessly clean and the food quality was top-notch. Everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. The standouts from our meal: • Yubu Kkaennip Kimbap – Light, savory, and bursting with well-balanced flavors. • Dolsot Bibimbap – Served sizzling hot in a stone bowl, packed with perfectly cooked rice, veggies, and bold gochujang flavor. • Mandu Guksu – Comforting noodle soup with delicate dumplings—perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. • Yachae Jeon – Crispy, golden vegetable pancake that hit all the right notes. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for clean, healthy, and incredibly tasty vegan food. Definitely coming back!
Good ambience with a nostalgic touch the moment you step inside. The food I ordered was all very delicious—so tasty that I don’t even have much to comment except that I thoroughly enjoyed everything! I’m not a vegetarian, but I was really impressed with the Korean dishes; they were full of flavour and didn’t have the usual vegetarian taste. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Another bonus—there’s no GST or service charge. Payment is by NETS, cash, or PayNow. Will definitely be back again!
